Day 2: Discover the beauty of Vesec, Humprecht and Kost Castle

Vesec near Sobotka, a small village known from the films How to Get Dad into the Reformatory or No Joking with Devils, invites you to a magical trip to the places that came alive on the screen. After visiting the village, continue to the Humprecht hunting lodge, known for its unique echo in the banquet hall and stunning views of the surroundings. In Sobotka, you can visit the Almárium Museum. History enthusiasts shouldn’t miss Kost Castle – the best-preserved Gothic castle in the Czech Republic, where you can choose from several interesting tours.

Day 3: Experience Stará Hrady, magical Dětenice, and the natural beauty of Dachovy

Embark on a trip full of fantasy – visit the Staré Hrady Castle, where children will meet dragons, fairies, and devils. In nearby Dětenice, they can enjoy a witch-themed tour of the castle, while parents can taste beer from the local brewery. The journey between these magical places can also be done by bike. And if you want to continue, stop by the Eduard Štorch Museum in Ostroměř. The perfect ending? Swimming in the uniquely preserved natural swimming pool in Dachovy near Hořice.

Day 4: From Karlova Koruna to the fairytale Hrádek

Karlova Koruna Chateau in Chlumec nad Cidlinou will enchant you with its beauty and stories of the Kinský family and horse racing history. Children can enjoy an interactive game, while adults relax in the orangery overlooking the park. Once you've soaked in the elegance, head to the nearby Gendarmerie Station for some playful fun. You can then continue to the romantic Hrádek u Nechanic Chateau, featured in the fairy tale film The Prince and the Evening Star, or visit the Stuchlík Toy Museum in Nový Bydžov. A perfect day for the whole family is guaranteed!
